I contacted 620 Bakery at 11 a.m. the day before Thanksgiving inquiring about a coconut cake. The bakery closes at 3 p.m. but they kindly took my order & had the cake ready for pick-up before closing. The cake was a big hit for family on Thanksgiving Day!

I've had lunch at 620 Cafe a few times. The food's hit-or-miss, it seems. The tortilla soup is BAD. There's nothing less appetizing than coming back to it after a few minutes of nibbling on something else, to find the cheese they put in it has dissolved into oil + whatever else and is floating on top. The food is OK, but about $1 too expensive for the quality you get.

Don't be fooled by the fact that the work "bakery" is in this restaurants name or the fact that it's decor is 80's ranch style complete with faux flowers and cedar beam roofing. The restuarant serves wonderful breakfast food all day, and offers affordable lunch specials. Their chicken fried steak (for breakfast, lunch, or dinner) is amazing... crispy and crunchy and tender! I haven't tried the desserts, but the bread that is served prior to ever meal is wonderful. I especially love the pumpkin and zuchinni varieties. The service is fantastic. My glass never goes completely empty before it's refilled by a friendly and attentive wait staff. I love this place!!!
